About Us

Founded in 1995, we are a friendly, non-auditioned choir of about 80 men and women. We meet once a week on Monday evenings during school term time to rehearse for an hour and a half from 8pm - 9:30pm.

We are a registered charity (number 1114655).

About the Conductor

Malcolm Harding has just retired from directing school music for over thirty years. During his career he has directed Bristol Youth Choir, been assistant conductor of the Bristol Opera Company, choirmaster and organist at the Lord Mayor's chapel, Bristol, choral specialist for the Hitchin Suzuki group, Director of Music and Choirs at Bradfield College, frequent guest conductor for the Newbury Festival of Choirs and Director of Cranford Choral Society. He has musically directed over twenty-two choir tours to Europe and the States. He has experience in and enjoys directing singers of all ages and abilities. Several members of his choirs have gone on to gain choral awards at universities.
